Willing Workers On Organic Farm
We joined the wwoofing association in 1998.
We have enjoyed the assistance and company of hundreds of wwoofers.
They have been an essential asset in making our farm the place it is today.
We like wwoofers to experience a variety of jobs on the farm, such as gardening, weeding, harvesting produce, planting out crops, feeding hens, collecting eggs, helping with the cattle and assisting with the rain forest development.
Visa extension is possible at our farm.
The wwoofer accomodation is in a quaint renovated farmhouse, set away from the main house. It is environmentally friendly using solar powered electricity and the water supply comes from collected rain water.
From the cottage there are stunning views of nearby hills, fields and a waterhole, wildlife abounds, birds, goannas, frogs, wallabies. You might even sight the occasional koala bear.
The cottage is shared by wwoofers who are staying at the time. There are 3 large bedrooms (each has 1 double bed and 1 single bed), a bathroom, kitchen, a spacious living room and balcony at the rear with wonderful views.
Living at the 'Ruin cottage' is a great way to meet new friends and enjoy the surroundings of Jacob's Ladder Organic Farm.
